Hello there! I'm Walter Cicchetti, a multimedia creator and educator with a passion for storytelling. Originating from America's Hometown, Plymouth, Massachusetts, I have a wealth of experience in crafting captivating stories through video. Proficient in video shooting, editing, and conducting interviews, I am well-versed in utilizing industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, and Final Cut Pro to produce high-quality content that resonates.
I am currently a Broadcast Video Technician with the City of Boca Raton, where I support live broadcasts, citywide communications, and multimedia content production. Before this role, I served as the Broadcast Coordinator at Lynn University, working closely with students, faculty, and staff to produce projects like the weekly live broadcast iPulse News. At Lynn, my focus was on mentoring students, helping them elevate their storytelling skills, refine their edits, and maximize their use of professional equipment, all while preparing them for careers in media. Prior to my work in higher education and municipal communications, I was an educator at NSU University School, where I revived the school’s dormant media program and led students to two national first-place wins at the Student Television Network competitions, including a “Crazy 8” victory. My career began in Boston with internships at WCVB (ABC) and WHDH 7NEWS before moving into professional roles at PACTV Community News, PCN Life, and the Local Seen in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Across each position, I’ve combined hands-on production expertise with a passion for developing storytellers and delivering high-quality broadcast content. Beyond my multimedia ventures, I enjoy sharing my passion with others, imparting my expertise in video production to students.
